Handmade original prints

All my prints are made by hand, by me, in my York Studio. My current handprinted work, or as I like to call it analogue or lo-fi, includes both linocut and letterpress limited edition prints.

My linocut prints are all hand-cut from traditional lino, hand-inked and hand-pressed. I don’t look too much at how others work or how I am ‘supposed’ to do printmaking. Instead I used instinct and my inner creativity and find what works for me and what I want to create, I look within to what comes from me. For me that is what Art is, and it gives a far more personal and unique outcome to my work which I hugely value.

Again with my letterpress work I use traditional vintage wooden type block but I print and ink by hand. It is unconventional and (I feel) slightly rebelious - again which I love!
